SharpStacks LightGBM MLB is a gradient-boosted decision tree ensemble using leaf-wise (best-first) tree growth and histogram-based binning. Features are engineered from real MLB Stats API data (standings, pitcher ERA/WHIP, run differentials, Pythagorean expectation, recent form). Final probabilities are blended with real bookmaker consensus from The Odds API to surface true edges.
